i've begun working with the midwest workers association, a wonderful non profit in chicago, dedicated to providing help to those who make sub survival or inadequate income. our goals are to make fair wages and jobs a standard, achieve a universal health care system, and improve the overall quality of life for everyone, starting with the lowest class. sounds crazy to me too. but i'm learning a lot about how to organize, and motivate people. we also talk about various forms of civil disobedience, like sitdown strikes, and how they help or hurt various causes. its a great organization with great people running it. hopefully, i'll help them get a website going sooner than later.

i watched a movie called 'the protocols of zion' recently, it was a mark levin movie. it breaks down and examines anti-semitism, specifically having to do with a book called 'the protocols of the elders of zion', a book about the jewish conspiracy to take over the world. i thought it was funny that such a book even existed, but the movie shows that there are a lot, A LOT, of people who believe it. i never knew there were so many raw anti-semites out there. check it out.
